Imogene Vail Cornelius of Tyler, Texas passed away in Tyler, Texas April 15, 2011 at the age of 81. She was born to Leonard and Hattie Rhoton Vail in Seminole Oklahoma December 3rd, 1929. Imogene was raised in the Holdenville area and attended Spaulding School. She married Bob Cornelius on June 11 1947 and they made their home in Holdenville until 1954.

Survivors include; her husband Bob Cornelius of Tyler, Texas, two daughters, Linda Stucker of Atchinson, Kansas and Barbara Cornelius of Logans Port, La. Two grandchildren, Cheryl and Merv. Four great grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsay, Bobbye, and Brooke.

Three sisters, Virgina Bishop of Okla. City, Cytha Lou Simpson of Shawnee, June Cousins of Holdenville. Two brothers, Larry Vail of Houston and Floyd Vail of Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Ralph Vail and one sister Krystine Aldridge.

Viewing will be held Sunday afternoon from 6:00 pm to 8pm.

Services are scheduled for Monday 2:00 Graveside services April 18, 2011, at the Holdenville Cemetery with Alan Eck officiating.
