Funeral services of Ronald E. Osterkamp were held 10:00 Wednesday morning, June 30, 1999 at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa. The Rev. Billy Duay officiated at the service. Interment at Cass Cemetery, Anamosa. Military services were provided by the Anamosa Veterans.
Ronald E. Osterkamp, age 59, of Anamosa, died Saturday, June 26 at this residence following a brief illness.
Ronald E. Osterkamp was born June 5, 1940 at Plato. He was the son of Ernest and Emma Christianson Osterkamp. He attended school in Anamosa. He then served in the US Army. On January 27, 1967 he was united in marriage with Barbara Capron at the United Methodist Church in Anamosa. Ron worked as a mechanic for the Martelle Elevator for several years and was working for Stickle's for the past few months.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Anamosa; one daughter, Lori Osterkamp of Center Point; one son, Russell Osterkamp of Anamosa; four grandchildren, Alicia, Koree, Allen and Andrew; one brother, Ivan Osterkamp of Anamosa; six sisters, Delores Rickels, Caroline Stoneking, Wilma Thompson, all of Anamosa, Florence Kula of Monticello, Freda Wood of Nevada and Edna Younkers of Michigan.
