Lena was the daughter of James Boyd and Mary Ann Bickett. She married Chester R. Harris.

Mrs. Lena Harris, of Deerfield, sister of Mrs. Floyd Schramm, of near Waverly, died last Friday, February 24th.
Deceased was born March 27, 1880, at Nevada, Mo., the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Boyd, who were long time Waverly residents.
She was married to Chester Harris, who preceded her in death Feb. 5, 1953. A son, James, died May 10, 1936.
Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Floyd Schramm; a brother, John Boyd, of the state of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Highland Park. The body was cremated and the ashes will be interred in East cemetery, Waverly, Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with Rev. Ralph Fitch, pastor of the Methodist church, conducting graveside service.
