Elsie Boyd Miller, daughter of James and Mary A. Boyd, was born July 14, 1885, and died November 18, 1924, aged 39 years, 4 months and 4 days.

At the age of twelve years she united with the Reformed Presbyterian church of Coulterville, Ill. Since then she has been associated with some church where she lived, having always been an active and willing worker wherever her lot was cast.

She was united in marriage with John Miller, August 27, 1910. She is survived by her husband, and two sons, Robert and John James; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Boyd of this city; four sisters, Mrs. George W. McDevitt, Mrs. Margaret Edmiston and Miss Ruth Boyd of Waverly, and Mrs. Chester Harris of Chicago; and two brothers, John Boyd of Waverly and Leonard Boyd of Jacksonville.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock, in charge of the pastor, Rev. H. S. Lucas.

Interment was in East Cemetery.
