67, of Danville, Ky., and formerly of Oneida, Tenn., died January 8, 1997, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. Born in Oneida, Tenn., February 14, 1929, he was the son of the late Richard and Hattie Hughett Foster. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Davidson Foster of Danville, Ky.; four sons: Jim Foster of Houston, Tex.; Rick Foster of Stanford, Ky.; Scott Foster of Perryville, Ky.; and Billy Foster of Danville, Ky.; two daughters: Joan Cochran and Jeanie Turner, both of Danville, Ky.; one brother, Sam Foster of Danville, Ky.; four sisters: Hulda Foster of Jamestown, Tenn.; Jean Thorne of Oneida, Tenn.; and Tiny Perkins and Joann Butler, both of Helenwood, Tenn. Funeral services were conducted January 11, 1997, at Hilltop Baptist Church with Revs. T.C. Lay and Chuck Israel officiating. Interment followed at the Foster Cemetery. Jones and Son Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
