Wednesday April 14, 1937

-Mrs. Jane Rial passed away at her home in Marengo township at 10:00 o'clock last evening. Had she lived until May 1 she would have passed her seventy-ninth milestone.
-Mrs. Rial was born in Marshall May 1, 1858. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marie Wassler of Ecorse; one son, Owen of Battle Creek, also four sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Rial's husband, Peter Rial preceded her in passing.
-Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Kelser-More funeral home. Burial will be in Oakridge cemetary.
