Harrington
---James Godwin Harrington of Fredonia, aged 71 years, passed away at 5:45 o'clock this morning at the Calhoun County Hospital, where he had been the past two week[sic] for treatment. He had been in ill health for the past two years. Mr. Harrington, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James W. Harrington, was born February 14, 1862, in Marshall. When he was four years old his parents moved to Fredonia township on the farm where he had since resided. He is survived by five sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Jane Rial, Battle Creek; Mrs. T. J. McMillan and Mrs. Jacob Shew, of Monroe, Mrs. Charles Schultz of Athens, and Mrs. O. H. Blodgett of Fredonia, Grant Harrington of Convis, M. E. Harrington of Battle Creek and Robert of Lansing, also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the Harrington homestead in Fredonia, and burial will be in Oakridge.

Funeral Service
---Funeral services for James G. Harrington were held at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home in Fredonia. Rev. Chr. Heidenreich of the Lutheran church officiated and Mr. and Mrs. William Pierce sang. Burial was given in Oakridge and acting as pallbearers were Messrs. Richard Fox, William Pierce, S. J. Fredenburg, Samuel McKiver, William Salsburg and John Hess.
---Here from away for the service were Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Shew, Mrs. T. J. McMillan of Monroe; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Thomas and daughter Evelyn, Mrs. Henry Harrington of Albion; Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Harrington of Augusta; Mrs. William Beggs, Fred Sacs of Battle Creek, and Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Schultz and son, James, of Athens.
