Joseph E Enos
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dudley Hoffman Mortuary for Mr. Joseph E Enos,66, of 510 East Stowell Road. Mass of Catholic Burial will be Wednesday 10 a.m. at St Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will be in Santa Maria Cemetery, where Santa Maria Elks Lodge No. 1538 will conduct graveside services.
Born March 7, 1909 in Santa Maria, Mr. Enos died Sunday morning in a Santa Maria hospital. He was a member of a pioneer family.
A member of the Santa Maria Elks Lodge No. 1538 for 28 years, Mr Enos also a member of D.E.S. Club. He was retired from farming.
Survivors are his widow Celia, Santa Maria; three daughters Mrs. JoAnn Kauffman, Mrs. Diana Hammock, and Mrs Dorene Lundstrom, all of Santa Maria. Three sisters, Mrs lena Buss and Miss Margret Enos, both of Santa Maria and Mrs Ida Galentine, Arroyo Grande; and grandchildren Susan, Barry and Jeff Kauffman and Paul, Kim and Cheryl Hammock.
Visitation will be Tuesday, noon -9p.m. at Dudley Hoffman Mortuary where arrangements are being handled.
