George was born in Guadalupe, Santa Barbara County, California. His parents were Joseph Enos and Mary Barcellos. George never married. George was found to have mental problems and was commited to the hospital and remained there the rest of his life.

Obituary:
George Isadore Enos 59, a life long resident of the Santa Maria Valley, died yesterday morning at a Garden Grove Hospital. His death followed a lengthy illness.
Enos was born April 4, 1897 in Guadalupe to parents who were pioneers in this area. He worked most of his life as a farmer.
Survivors include a brother, Joseph E Enos, four sisters, Mrs. Lena Buss, Miss Margaret Enos, Miss Mary Enos, all of Santa Maria and Mrs. Ida l Gallentine, Arroyo Grande: An uncle, Frank J Barcellos, San Luis Obispo and two aunts, Mrs Jossie Hinkle, Folsom Cal. and Mrs. Fred D Meyer, San Jose. He also leaves three nieces Joann, Dorene and Diane Enos all of Santa Maria.
Rosary will be recited at 8 P M Tuesday in the chapel of the Dudley Mortuary. Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Wednesday at St Mary's Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Santa Maria Cemetery. The Rev Msgr. Thomas V Murphy will officiate at the funeral.
Bullbearers will be Frank F Silva, George and Manuel Nunes, Thomas Weldon, Anton Oliveria and James Battles.
