Second wife of Benjamin Ryun (1785-1870). Polly was married first to Joshua Clark (1788-1830) October 17, 1811 in Ross County, Ohio. She was the mother of at least nine children with Joshua Clark including:

1. Lucinda Clark (b. February 22, 1813 - died between 1820 and 1830)
2. Sarah (Clark) Allen (b. March 5, 1815 - died after 1880 in Missouri)
3. John Clark (1817-1881)
4. Joshua Clark (1820-1906)
5. Mary "Polly" (Clark) Ryun (1822-1906)
6. Elizabeth (Clark) Stokesbury (1824-1910)
7. David B. Clark (1826-1897)
8. Susannah (Clark) Benson (1828-1894)
9. Charity (Clark) Smith (1830-1903)

After her first husband, Joshua Clark, died, Mary married George Conner on October 10, 1835 in Fayette County, Ohio. He died soon after and she then married her third husband, Benjamin Ryun, on December 5, 1837 in Fayette County, Ohio. Polly and Benjamin are buried together in this cemetery. Benjamin's son from his first marriage and Polly's daughter from her first marriage (John Ryun and Mary Ann "Polly" Clark) also married in 1840.

Mary "Polly" (Blocher) Clark Conner Ryun was the daughter of Christian Blocher and Catherine (Dougan, Dougel or MacDougal) Blocher Mark. Her surname is sometimes spelled Blaugher, Blocker and Plougher. Polly's relatives in Scott County, Indiana used the spelling "Blocher" and she appears to have used the spelling Blocher on her marriage certificate to Joshua Clark in 1811 in Ross County, Ohio.

Polly's first husband, Joshua Clark, died and is supposedly buried in Fayette County, Ohio. Her mother is buried in Fayette County, Ohio as well as is her sister, Susannah (Blocher) Mark. There is a town in Scott County, Indiana named after her relatives called Blocher, Indiana.

(Also please note: For those who are adding info. to their family trees, Joshua Clark, who was Mary's first husband, was not born in Wales. He may have been of "Welsh descent," but he was born in the U.S. It appears he may have been born in Delaware or Pennsylvania and it is likely the Clark family were in the U.S. for many years, possibly originating in Virginia or Massachusetts.)
