Wife of Joshua Allen (1810-1877). Daughter of Joshua Clark and Mary "Polly" (Blocher) Clark Conner Ryun. Sarah was the mother of at least eleven children with Joshua including: Andrew Jackson, Jacob, Joshua, David Henry, James, Permelia, Matthias, Emily Elizabeth, Charlotte, Martin and Alfred Allen. Sarah died between 1880 and 1900 in Missouri.

Please note: The "Jacob Allen" who is currently linked to this memorial as Sarah's son is not the correct Jacob Allen. Joshua Allen and Sarah Clark's son, Jacob, was born in 1834, not 1827. Also, the other Jacob Allen lived in Illinois and this Allen family never lived in Illinois. Joshua Allen and Sarah Clark's son, Jacob, died sometime between 1850 and 1856 in Iowa.
