Mrs. Roxie Gant Called By Death

Funeral services for Mrs. Roxie E. Gant, 30, wife of C. A. Gant, who died in the City hospital early Thursday morning, will be held from the home in Division street, South Side, Sunday afternoon at 8 o'clock. The place of burial will be announced later.

Mrs. Gant had been employed in the Ruth Furniture Company. She had been in ill health during the past year, her condition becoming critical Sunday, when she was removed to the hospital. She had lived in the South Side for the past ten years. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.

Her husband survives, in addition to three children, Clyde, aged 10; Beva, aged seven, and Betty, two years old; her father, James Sheppard; five sisters, Mrs. Nora Gilmore of Pomeroy, Ohio; Mrs. Ora Noah, of Belleville; Mrs. Clarence Ruble, of this city, and Miss Lorain Sheppard and Miss Merle Sheppard, both of Gates Ridge, and three brothers, Pears Sheppard, of Gates Ridge, and Arlie and Gilbert Sheppard, of this city.
