Lucy Freed , following an illness of 2 weeks with typhoid fever and catarrhal pneumonia. Lucy wife of Frank Freed of North Grand Street departed this life at Lewistown Hospital at 11 o`clock Saturday evening April 24, 1915 at the age of 47 years.
Surviving are her husband and the following children, Clayton Barr of Newtown, Mrs William Fleming of South Brown Street Lewistown, Mrs Gertrude Howell of Sunbury and James and Ruth at home.Her maiden name was Lucy Ritter.The following brothers and sisters are Mrs Mary Messimer of Main Street, Mrs Rosa Shilling of Lewistown Junction, Mrs Anna Wheeler of Montgomery Avenue,Mrs Lilly Aurand of Ferguson Valley,Mrs Lizzie Brannon of Newtown, Mrs Sallie Steele of Cleveland Ohio, Mrs Bertha Seibert of Saxton, Mrs Florence Beers of North Pine street, John Ritter of South Dorcas Street, Joseph Ritter of Lewistown Junction, and Charles Ritter of Montgomery Avenue.
Funeral Services were held at her late home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o`clock, Rev Dorsey N Miller officiating. Interment in Lewistown Methodist Cemetery.
