Mrs Annie Ritter Wheeler died at her home at West Water Street at 6:30 pm on Sunday.She had been ill for two years.Mrs Wheeler was born on Sept 18,1872 a daughter of the late Henry and Matilda Knepp Ritter. Her husband Clarence J Wheeler died on Oct 31,1951. Nine children survive namely,Charles L Wheeler of Marysville, Mrs Reinhard (Mary) Kuppel of Yeagertown, Clarence W Wheeler,Mrs William (Laura) Ritter,Mrs Domer (Margaret) Royer and Howard E Wheeler all of Lewistown, Merle H wheeler of Lewistown,Miss Vergie M Wheeler at home and Mrs Kenneth (Elva) Gordon of Reedsville.Other survivors include these brothers and sisters,Charles L Ritter of Dry Valley Road, John Ritter of Mill Street, Joseph Ritter of Lewistown, Mrs Mary Messermer of McClure,Mrs John Beers of Lewistown, and Mrs Bertha Seibert of Saxton. Twenty six grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren also are living. Mrs Wheeler was a member of the Fairview Chapel and the Sunday School Class taught by Vier A Goss. Funeral services will be held at the residence on Wednesday at 2:30 pm in charge of Mr Goss her pastor. Burial will be made in the Lind Memorial Cemetery. Friends will be received at the residence after 7 o'clock this evening.
