Lillie Brotherston, 72, of Badger, Minnesota died on Wednesday, April l, 1992 in Roseau Area Hospital, Roseau, Minnesota.

Lillie Christine Beito was born on December 4, 1919 near Strathcona, in Huss Township, Roseau County, Minnesota, the daughter of Sophie (Underdahl) and Gilbert Beito. She attended rural schools in the Strathcona area. She married George Brotherston on July 10, 1943 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. They farmed south of Badger until 1963.

Survivors are a daughter, Sophie (Mrs. Darrel) Warne of Badger; sons, Haze Beito of Thief River Falls, Minnesota and Robert Brotherston, serving with the U.S. Army in Germany; five grandchildren; sisters, MoReen Behr of Green Acres, Washington, Alice Taus of Climax, Minnesota; and brothers, Walter, of Middle River, Minnesota, Marvin, Harry and Elwood, all of Strathcona, Minnesota, Gilman of Troy, Montana, and Arnie of Wannaske, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Lennie, Gerald and Palmer; sister, Gladys McAdam; and one grandson.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 6, 1992 in Faith Lutheran Church, Badger, Minnesota. Visitation was from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, 1992 in Helgeson Funeral Home, Roseau, Minnesota and one hour before services in the church.
