DENNIS LEON
This well known resident of the Third Ward died at his home on Porteus Street last Tuesday after an illness of several months. He was 51 Years of age and had always resided in this city, being the son of Jacob and J. Bridget Mahoney Leon. He was a meat cutter by occupation and gained quite a reputation in his management of the clambakes. In politics he was a Democrat and was elected assessor on the ticket in 1911. In April, 1885, he was married to Anna Pauth, who survives with ten children, George, William, Gertrude, Joseph, Anna, Mary, Ruth, Francis, and Earl. His father Jacob Leon, one brother, John J. Leon, and a sister, Mrs. John Van Alstine, also survive. The Funeral was held from St. Mary's Church Thursday morning and internment was made in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Little Falls, Nov. 11,
At about 9 o'clock this morning Dennis Leon died at his home in *Moreland street. He had been in bad health for some years, but his death came unexpectedly this morning. He fell dead while walking the hallway of his home. Mr. Leon was about 56 years of age and is survived by his wife and several children.
He was a Democrat in politics and for three years was an Assessor of the city.
