Mrs. Royle, Hesperia, Dies; Wed 67 Years - Hesperia, March 11 -- Mrs. Florence Royle, 87, died at her home here early this morning following a long illness. She was the last of eight children born to Hiram and Eliza Keech, early settlers of Maple Range, Otto Township, Oceana County. She was born in Grand Rapids, March 13, 1867 and came to Maple Range as a child where she lived until her marriage to Fred N. Royle on April 22, 1888. Mr. and Mrs. Royle built a farm near here, living on it until a few years ago when they moved to their present home. Mrs. Royle was a member of the Hesperia Methodist Church. The couple would have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary April 22. Survivors include her husband, now 95 years old, four daughters, Mrs. Jennie Stever of Hart, Mrs. Henry Kuipers, Mrs. Monte Rogers and Mrs. Eliza Hoffman, all of Muskegon; two sons, Arthur of Muskegon and William of Port Huron, 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild. Funeral services will be held from the Hesperia Methodist Church Monday at 2 p.m. Friends may call at the Crandall and Ensing Funeral Home until time of services.
