Mrs. Erma V. Rogers, age 94, passed away Monday, December 13, 1999. She was born May 15, 1905 in Otto Township, MI to Fred and Florence (Keech) Royle and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. On September 6, 1930, she married Monte A. Rogers in Michigan City, IN and he preceded her in death on January 22, 1952. She was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church where she was active in the church choir for 38 years and a life member of the Women's Society and Charity Circle. She was also a member of the Vikings Lodge of Muskegon.

Survivors include one son, Monte (Linda) Rogers of Spring Lake; two granddaughters, Deborah (Karl) Bosma of Norton Shores and Lisa (Steve) Burns of Holland; one sister, Sylvia Kuipers of Muskegon; one niece, Shirley Vasser of Muskegon; two nephews, Fred (Betty) Kuipers of Holland and Henry (Judy) Kuipers of Hart; and many great-nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeside United Methodist Church, 2160 Crozier Ave., with the Rev. William P. Muers, Jr., officiating. Interment will take place in Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 7-9 this evening at the Walburn Chapel, Systema Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeside United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or the Church Choir.
