Mrs. Anna E. Rogers, of 1406 Downer Ave., Utica, died during the past week at her home after an illness of six weeks. She was born in Waterville, daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Stasia Ryan Cain. She attended Waterville schools.
She was married to James F. Rogers, Oct. 18, 1921. He died March 22, 1956. Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and the Altar Rosary Society. She leaves three sisters, all of Utica, Miss Catherine V. Cain, Mrs. Henry (Alice) Helmer and Mrs. Winifred Noon and a nephew. The funeral was held Wednesday at 8:30 from the Langdon Residential Funeral Home, York and Maple Sts., and at 9 from Sacred Heart Church, where a solemn requiem high Mass was celebrated. Burial took place at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Waterville.
