Mrs. Winifred Noon
Mrs. Winifred Cain Noon, 2010 Noyes St., Utica died on March 20, 1961 in her home after a long illness. She was born in Waterville, a daughter of Thomas and Anna Stasia Ryan Cain. She had resided here since 1900 and attended local schools.

In 1920, she was married to John J. Noon in St. Patrick's Church. He died July 26, 1929. She was a member of the Church of Sacred Heart. She was a saleslady many years employed by both the Robert Fraser department store and the J. B. Wells & Sons Co. department store. She retired about 10 years ago.

She leaves two sisters, Miss Katherine Cain and Mrs. Henry Helmers, and a nephew, Thomas Cain, Jr., all of Utica. The funeral was held at 8:30 today from the Langdon Residential Funeral Home, York and Maple Sts., and at 9 from the Church of the Sacred Heart, where a solemn requiem Mass was offered. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Waterville in the spring.
