Henry Lesser
Henry Lesser, 79, Windsor, died Nov. 12 in his home.
He was born April 6, 1910, in Walla Walla, Wash., to Henry S. and Elizabeth K. (Schissler) Lesser.
Mr. Lesser was raised in Walla Walla. When he was 8 years old, his family moved to Brighton and then to Platteville where they farmed. In 1931 they moved to Windsor where he had lived ever since.
On Jan. 17, 1931, he married Mollie Altergott in Windsor.
He was a member of Faith united Church of Christ and was a trustee at the former Zion Lutheran Church of Windsor.
Survivors are his wife, Mollie of Windsor; a son, Richard Lesser of Cheyenne, Wyo.; four sisters, Elizabeth Teal of Johnstown, Helen Heimbegner of Greeley, Linda Oppido of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Lydia Lovejoy of Ventura, Calif.; five brothers, Reinhold of Johnstown, Conrad of Cheyenne, Wyo., Harry of Greeley and John and Sam, both of Loveland; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from First United Church of Christ. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
