Mrs. Henry Lesser Dies Suddenly
Mrs. Elizabeth K Lesser, 62, wife of Henry S. Lesser, died Tuesday afternoon at her home, 731 Adams, from a sudden heart attack which she suffered at ten o’clock in the morning. Mrs. Lesser had done her housework as usual and had not complained of feeling ill, when she was seized with the sudden illness, from which she did not regain consciousness. Her death came as a great shock to her family and friends.
Mrs. Lesser moved to Loveland from Johnstown in February, where she had resided since 1917. Before coming to Colorado she had lived in the state of Washington.
Survivors are her husband; and eleven children, Conrad, Reinhold and Mrs. James Teal of Johnstown; Henry of Windsor; Harry of Denver; Lydia of Nampa, Idaho; John of Frederick, Colo.; Mrs. John Floth of Greeley; Sam and Olinda of Loveland. Also a sister, Mrs. Margaret Bretgauer of Brush, and two brothers, Jake Schissler of Ione and Chris Schissler of Brighton.
Funeral services will be held at the Congregational church Friday at 2 p.m. Interment will be made in Lakeside Cemetery.

Katharina Elisabeth Lesser, nee Schissler, was born 1 August 1878 in Walter, Russia. She was the daughter of Christian and Margarina Schissler.
On 10 April 1900 she married Heinrich S Lesser. The family immigrated to America in 1906. They lived in Ritzville, Washington, Walla Walla, Washington and in 1917 came to Weld County in Colorado. They farmed in Johnstown, Colorado. In February 1940 they moved to Loveland.
She died 3 December at the age of 62 years 4 months and 8 days.
