Elsie Ruth (Timm) Robinson, 86, died in Davenport, Lincoln Co., Washington. She grew up in Harrington Washington. She married Ernest "Ernie" Albert Robinson, January 3, 1916 in Davenport, Lincoln Co., WA. In about 1920 they sold their Davenport Washington wheat farm and moved to a new farm in Oroville, Okanogan Co., WA.

Elsie was a 50-year member of the Oroville Grange and the Oroville Methodist Church. At one time their Oroville "Mountain Valley Ranch" was the county's largest supplier of chicken and eggs. When Sears Roebuck decided to provide mail order chickens Ernie & Elsie got out of the chicken business and concentrated on their fruit orchard and their polled hereford cattle.

After Ernie passed away (1972) she moved to Spokane to live with her daughter Jackilyn and Tom Keithley, eventually moving into a Davenport WA. assisted living facility. She often mentioned that from her window she could see their original farm.

She and Ernie had three daughters: Celecia Hargrave, Port Orchard, Theda Mayer, Wenatchee and Jackilyn, Spokane. At the time of her death she had surviving her besides her daughters: 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mary Warwick, Harrington. Note: The Robinson Mountain Valley Ranch in Oroville WA. was located at the end of what is now called Ernie Robinson Road.
