Son of August Timm and Dorothea Buhr Timm.

He married Sophia Emma Timm 10 August 1912 in Davenport, Lincoln County, Washington. They had 3 children, Reo, Harold and Wilma.

Timm, August H.

August H. Timm, eldest of 14 children, was born to August Wilhelm Timm and Dorothea (Buhr) Timm, at Hansen, Uelzen, Hannover, Germany, March 3, 1885. His father came to the US and settled at Harrington in 1888, and his family joined him in 1890. While August was a boy, they lived about 2 miles from town, land now owned by Paul Beck. The family lived in a dug out. On Oct 3, 1912 he was united in marriage to Emma Timm of Reedsburg, WI at Coeur d'Alene. In 1906 August had filed on a homestead in Franklin Co, near Eltopia, where they made their home. In 1917 they purchased the farm where Reo Timm now lives. In 1953 they retired from farming. On April 11, 1966 he suffered a stroke and died on April 17 at the Odessa hospital. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Timm is survived by his widow; two sons, Reo and Harold; one daughter, Wilma Dory; two brothers, Adolph and Fred; five sisters, Mrs. Freda Turner, Mrs. Elsie Robinson, Mrs. Minnie Turner, Mrs. Denny Warwick and Mrs. Bertha Bailey.
