Nathan Carlton Harvey, 88, of Savannah, died Saturday, April 20 at Hospice Savannah. He was born in Bryan County and was a veteran of WWII, having served in the U.S. Army on the front lines in Africa and Italy for 27 months. He was a retired logger and farmer and a member of Harville Baptist Church in the Denmark Community of Bulloch County.

Survivors: wife of 24 years, Margaret "Margie" Parrish Harvey of Savannah; daughters and son-in-law, Carla and Dennis Williams of Ellabell and Donna Riggs of Claxton; sons and daughters-in-law, Julian and Kathy Harvey of Nevils and Steve and Joan Harvey of Claxton; sister, Margaret Sykes of Savannah; step-daughters, Carla Kicklighter and Carol Roach, both of Savannah; 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 22 in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.

Burial: in the Groveland Cemetery in Pembroke. Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
