Pembroke - Ronald M. Harvey, 58, died Saturday at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton after a long illness. The Bryan County native was a logger and a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Smith Harvey of Pembroke; four sons, Ronald Franklin Harvey of Ellabell and Gregory, Roger and Michael Harvey, all of Pembroke; three stepsons, Barry Ellis of Reidsville, Michael Ellis of Jacksonville, Fla., and Joe Ellis of Atlanta; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Margaret Bowen and Mrs. Cathy Wagner, both of Atlanta and Mrs. June Myrra of Tallahassee; two brothers, Carlton Harvey of Portal and Grady Harvey of Pembroke; three sisters, Mrs. Eula Fagnant of Pembroke, Mrs. Margaret Sikes of Bloomingdale and Mrs. Sally Mae McCallar of Richmond Hill; and 14 grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mr. Harvey will be at 11 a.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke. Burial will be in the Groveland Cemetery.
