Eula Harvey Fagnant, 84, died Friday at Claxton Nursing Home after a long illness. She was a native of Bryan County and a member of the Pembroke Christian Church. She was a former matron and member of Chapter 401, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a retired assistant field director for the American Red Cross.
Survivors include one son, Frederic H. Fagnant, Pembroke; one brother, Carlton Harvey, Pembroke; two sisters, Margaret Sikes, Bloomingdale and Sally Mae McCallar; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Morrison Funeral Home in Pembroke. The Rev. Jack Hudson will conduct the service. Burial will be in Groveland Cemetery near Pembroke.
