Isaac Marvin Wright [called Marvin] was named in honor of his father Rev. Isaac Marvin Wright Sr., a widower whose wife Bessie Lynn (Wright) Wright died in 1914 with six living children (3 had died as infants).

A few years later Rev. Isaac Marvin Wright met Martha Augusta Palmore a lovely school teacher from Montgomery County, Mississippi, when she came to visit her brother Bob Palmore. Rev. Isaac Marvin Wright and Martha Augusta Palmore fell in love, and were married on her birthday Sep 22, 1918. Through the years they became the parents of several children. They had a good marriage and were together until Rev. Marvin Wright's death in 1939.

Their second son Isaac Marvin Wright [called Marvin] became a career military serviceman. He was in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, was very patriotic and loved his family always. He and his wife Peggy Farless lived in New Mexico until their deaths. Isaac Marvin Wright died in 1992 and Peggy in 1996. She was laid to rest aside her beloved husband.
