MATHIAS ADAMS
GUTTENBERG, Ia.---Mathias Adams, 86, retired Guttenberg farmer, died Thursday night at his home. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guttenberg. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at Steger Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
Surviving are his wife, Catherine; six daughters, Mrs. Arthur Meyer, Dubuque, Agnes Adams, Independence, Mrs. Kenneth Walter, Guttenberg, Mrs. Lyle Knapp, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. John Spoden, Luxumborg, and Mrs. Virgil Moser, Goggon; three sons, Lawrence and Arthur, Guttenberg, and Clarence, Dyersville; and one brother, Peter, Guttenberg.
