Adams Services

Funeral services are being conducted by Monsignor Donald Sweeny at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg for Agnes Adams, 76, of St. Olaf. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Miss Adams died Sunday evening, Jan. 31, 1982 at Central Community Hospital in Elkader.

She was born Sept. 12, 1905 in Cassville, Wis., the daughter of Mathias and Catherine Harashe Adams.

She is survived by three brothers, Lawrence and Clarence, both of Dubuque, and Arthur of Guttenberg; Mrs. Kenneth (Leona) Walters of Guttenberg, Mrs. Arthur (Dorothy) Meyer of Dubuque, Mrs. Lyle Adeline) Knapp of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Jim (Elinor) Pine of Prairie du Chien, Wis., and Mrs. Virgil (Teresa) Moser of Cedar Rapids.

Visitation was at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home where the scripture wake service was held Tuesday evening.

Agnes Adams, 76, of St. Olaf died Sunday evening at Central Community Hospital, Elkader, Iowa.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg, Iowa, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 - 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Tucke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg, where the wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Surviving are three brothers, Lawrence and Clarence Adams, both of Dubuque, and Arthur Adams of Guttenberg, and five sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Leona) Walters of Guttenberg, Mrs. Arthur (Dorothy) Meyer of Dubuque, Mrs. Lyle (Adeline) Knapp of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Jim (Elinor) Pine of Prairie du Chien, Wis., and Mrs. Virgil Moser (Teresa) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
