Royal Bernard LaMora
  Royal Bernard LaMora, 64, of 23322 El Perro St., El Toro. Calif., a former Watertown and Tupper Lake section resident, died Aug. 11, 1964 at Martin Luther Hospital, Anaheim. Calif. He had been afflicted with a degenerative back disease and lung cancer.
  He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Penelope A. Drane and Nicotette Y. Wiles; four grandchildren, Sharley Drane LaMora, Walter Drane V, Thor Wiles and Donelle Wiles; two brothers, Clarence and Richard LaMora. Gouverneur; an aunt, Hilda Earle, Watertown and North Carolina and a sister in New York State, Helen Serviss.
  Born Sept. 19, 1919 at Deferiet a son of Charles R. and Mary LaRose LaMora, he spent his early years in the Potsdam and Tupper Lake sections and graduated from Watertown High School where he was active in football and art.
  He painted an oil mural which once hung in the former Remington Institute here. He had studied at the University of Vermont and Cincinnati Art Academy.
  From 1943 to 1946 he served in the Army Air Force.
  A member of IBEW Local 910 since 1940, he spent most of his life working in heavy power electrical construction traveling to many remote sections of the world. He also remained an active artist.
  At the time of his death he was employed by Fluor Engineering and Constructors, Inc., Irvine. Calif.
  He married the former Shirley Hartman.
