Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Schaefer, who died at her home in Mt. Calvary Tuesday morning. Services were conducted at Holy Cross Church at 10 a.m., Friday by the Rev. Charles O.M.C. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
The services were largely attended by the Mother's Society of the Third Order which Mrs. Schaefer was a member, being present in body: Mrs.. Matt Herder, Mrs. John Smith, Mrs. John A. Koenigs, Mrs. Joseph Abler, Mrs. W. Weber, and Mrs. John Brenner served as honoary bearers and Mrs. Nicholas Olig as cross bearer.
The active pallbearers were all nephews of the deceased; Matt, Frank, and Henry Holzman, Matt Berenz, Joseph Steffes and William Schaefer.
