Mathews - Thelma Sterling Hudgins, of Port Haywood, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000.
She was a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Capt. James Rufus Hudgins, and son, James Hudgins.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Hudgins Hogg of Midlothian; four grandchildren, Keith Hudgins of Virginia Beach, Karen Barrett of Greenville, S.C., Grant Hogg of Atlanta, Ga., and Alison Hogg of Baltimore, Md.; two great- grandchildren; and three half-brothers and one half- sister.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Susan, with burial to follow in church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Susan.
