Naxera - John Cecil Sterling, 67, died unexpectedly Tuesday.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Elva G. Sterling of Naxera; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara S. Thompson of Cobbs Creek; a son, Donald G. Sterling of Gloucester Point; a brother, Edward Sterling of Naxera, and four sisters, Mrs. Countess Gwyn of Naxera, Mrs. Virginia Edwards of Gloucester Point, Mrs. Thelma Hudgins of Point Haywood and Mrs. Nettie Hillers and Mrs. Allen Seeden of Norfolk; one half-sister, Mrs. Lorraine Jenkins of Bena; four half-brothers, Harry B. Sterling, Herbert H. Sterling, and Charles C. Sterling of Gloucester and Bernard E. Sterling of the Air Force in Germany and a grandchild.
Hogg Funeral Home is in charge.
