Aged Brother, Sister Die Within Hours

RUSSELLVILLE -- An aged brother and sister died Tuesday within hours of each other at their residences near here.

Mrs. W. H. Chaney, 83, of Phil Campbell, Rt. 3, died at her residence at 1:30 a.m. at 1:10 p.m., her brother, William David Borden, 78, of Tuscumbia, Rt. 2, died at his residence.

Funeral services for Mrs. Chaney will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Wolfe Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Bud Isbell officiating. Interment will take place in the King Cemetery with Highsmith Funeral Home of Russellville directing.

Survivors include her husband, W.H. Chaney, Phil Campbell, Rt. 3; three daughters, Mrs. Tom Chaney, Leighton, Rt. 1; Mrs. J.T. Faulkner, Phil Campbell, Rt. 3; Mrs. Manuel Francis, Leighton; one sister, Mrs. Linda Chaney, Florence; 19 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
