Mrs. Virgie M. Tidwell, 78, 606 E. Lawrence St., Russellville, died Wednesday at North Alabama Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Crawford Rutherford officiating. Burial will be in King Cemetery, Deaton-Highsmith Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by a son, Roscoe Uptain, Russellville; daughters, Mrs. Ethel Edgar, Phil Campbell, Mrs. Ermie Martin, Jonesboro, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Lillie Chaney, Leighton; 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
