REPUBLIC - James Jackson Carr,72, Republic, died at 9: 23 p m Monday in St John's Hospital, Springfield, after a long illness.
Survivors include his wife. Betty Marie, three sons. Jack P., Republic, Leonard C. Billings, and Roy L . Gainesville, three brothers. Earl, state of Colorado (California), Woodrow, Verona, and Richard, state of Texas, a sister. Mrs. Margarete House, Billings, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Meadors of Republic will announce arrangements.

REPUBLIC - Services for James Jackson Carr, 72, Republic, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Meadors Chapel with the rev. Faye White officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Carr died at 9:23 p.m. Monday in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, after a long illness.
He was a retired contractor and a member of Republic First Baptist Church.
