Leonard Claude Carr
Mr. Leonard Claude Carr, 82, of Billings, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, in his home, with family at his side. He was born Oct. 31, 1928, in Republic, the son of James Jackson and Betty Marie (Cunningham) Carr.
He was united in marriage to Ethel Latham on Feb. 24, 1947. Leonard retired from Dayco Products after 25 years of service, and was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Billings. He loved spending time with his family and gardening.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Roy.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel of 63 years, of the home; three sons, Claude and Janice, of Verona, Bill and Kathy, and Ronnie, all of Billings; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack Carr, of Billings; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at Meadors Funeral Home, Republic. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Full Gospel Church, Billings, with Pastor Victor Horton officiating, under the direction of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill West Cemetery, Billings. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Johns Hospice in Aurora.
