FRANK CARR
Friends here yesterday were informed of the death at Columbus, N.M., of Frank Carr, 31, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Carr. The young man is understood to have died Friday of acute indigestion. He is survived by two children here, Lonnie and Margaret, and by five brothers at Republic, Jack, Earl, Woodrow, Raymond and Richard Carr, and three sisters, Mrs. Hubert House of Billings, Mo.; Mrs. Leonard Pierson of Canyon City, Colo., and Mrs. John Galligher of Raton, N.M.
World War I Draft Registration Card gives his middle name as Edgar. His birthdate is given as 09 Jun 1900 on this same decument.
Death Certificate gives his date of birth as 1896 in error; his mother's maiden name is also listed as Waller in error.
While visiting the Evergreen Cemetery in 2001 groundskeepers told me that Frank was buried in an unmarked grave next to his parents. There isn't a marker.
