Mrs Dorothy M. (née Post) Endres, age 83, formerly of 25 South Charter Street, died on Thursday, 29 March 1979, in a Madison Nursing Home after a long illness. The former Dorothy M. Post was born on 24 January 1896, in Madison and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of St James Catholic Church. She was married to William A. Endres, who preceded her in death in 1955. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Howard (Joan) Howe, of Cottage Grove, Mrs George (Kathleen) Kraft, of Charleston, South Carolina; three sons, Gregory R., and Howard A., both of Madison, and Harold L., of Sun Prairie; 25 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son William G. in 1977. Funeral services will be held at St James Catholic Church, 1130 St James Court, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, 2 April 1979. Father William DeBock will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 2418 N Sherman Ave from 4 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, where a rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Wisconsin Heart Association.
