Bill was first married to Mildred Patricia O'Connor, with whom he fathered three children. Ronald William Endres, 2 Aug 1941 - 29 Nov 1978; Sharon Ann Endres, 24 Jul 1942 - 3 Aug 1942; and Terrence Endres, stillborn in July of 1943; all born in Madison, Wisconsin.
He later married Margaret "Marge" Emelia Thomsen, who was born 16 June 1918 in Portland, Oregon, and remained married until his death. Their children: William Paul Endres, Rosemarie "Rose" Endres, Christine Margaret Endres, Robert Hans Endres (†), Judith Ann Endres, and Steven George Endres. When he died in 1977 he was cremated and the ashed strew beneath a walnut tree at the family home in/near Lake Oswego, Oregon.
