Sinking Spring, Dec. 28 - Bertha M. Johnston, 47, died yesterday in her home in Bern Township, near here. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Slegel [Schlegel] Johnston.
Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: George Johnston, Fritztown; Joseph, of Lincoln Park; John, of Mohnton R.D. 1; Howard, or Harrisburg; Mary, wife of David Heddle, Norristown, and Laura, wife of George Bickel, Lititz.
Funeral services Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Lamm Funeral Home, the Rev. Ralph E. Starr officiating. Interment in Swamp Cemetery.
