Sinking Spring, Oct. 3 (Special) - Joseph Johnson [Johnston], aged 74 years, 7 months and 8 days, died yesterday at the home of his son-in-law, Adam Sweimler, 847 Columbia Avenue, this borough. He was a member of the Sawmp Reformed Church. These children survive: Mes. Adam Sweimler, this borough; George, Fritztown; William J., this place; Joseph, Shillington; John, Mohnton R.D.; Mrs. David Heddle, Paterson, N.J.; Howard, Harrisburg; Mrs. George Bickel, Robesonia; Bertha, of town; also 34 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two brothers and a sister, Mrs. Jeanette Moyer, Wernersville; George, Fritztown, and William, of Portland, Ore.

Funeral Thursday, Oct. 6 at 9:30 a.m. Services in Swamp Reformed Church, Rev. Dr. M.W. Schweitzer, Ephrata, will officiate. Interment adjoining cemetery. Funeral Director C. Norman Lamm, Wernersville, has charge.
