She was a daughter of Jacob and Suzanne (Emory) Neese and was born in Armstrong County on June 13, 1865.
She married Albert Wampler on November 17, 1886 and to this union 6 children were born, one of whom died in infancy. Those surviving are J W, W C, C E and Mrs. Hilda Valies, all of Timblin and Mrs. Lulu Powell of Punxsutawney. She is also survived by her husband and one sister, Mrs. Alva (Mary Catherine) Smith of New Bethlehem and three brothers, Park, Earl and Silas, all of McWilliams; also by 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services in her memory were held in the Eddyville Reformed church on Monday of this week and were conducted by Rev. Mr. Pierce.
Interment under the direction of S F Reitz took place in the Eddyville Cemetery.
