Park Neese, well known resident of Red Bank township, Armstrong County, died at his home near Eddyville on Friday morning, January 5, 1945.

William Park Neese was the son of Jacob Neese and Susannah Emery Neese.
Born April 16, 1872 in Red Bank Township,
he had spent his whole life in that section.

William Park Neese married Carrie Margaret Burket abt 1898.

Survivors include a son,
Jacob Neese, at whose home he died;
five daughters, Mrs. Merle Shick of Dayton, Mrs. Dora Best of New Kensington,
Mrs. Agnes Smith of Putneyville,
Mrs. Elsie McNutt of Hawthorn and
Mrs. Anna Kunselman of Dayton, RD 1;

a sister, Mrs. Alva Clarence (Mary Catherine) Smith of New Bethlehem RD 4 and two brothers, Earl Neese of New Bethlehem R D 4 and Silas Neese of Mayport, RD 3.
Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Eddyville Reformed Church.

Burial was made in the church cemetery under direction of H H Sloan.
