Funeral services for Mrs. Lewis (Josie) Knutson, 85, of Hartland, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Cross of Glory Lutheran church in Hartland. Burial will be in the Hartland cemetery.
Mrs. Knutson died Friday at Naeve Hospital of complications of old age.
She was born Guna Josephine Knutson, August 9, 1886 in Hartland Township. She was the daughter of Ole and Nikolina Knutson.
She married Lewis Knutson Jan. 12,1904 at Hartland. She was a member of the Cross of Glory church and its church women.
Survivors include a son, Lawrence of Hartland. two daughters, Mrs. George (Leona) Tukua of Hartland and Mrs. Glen (Lila) Wangen of Manchester.
Five grandchildren
one brother, Theodore of Limon, Colorado
Three sisters;
Mrs. Alfred (Olga) Enertson of Limon, Colorado
Mrs. Ella Madson of LaCrosse, Wisconsin
Mrs. Julia Grasdahlen of Albert Lea
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1936, a daughter in infancy.
