Mrs. Theodore (Thea) Thostenson, 70 who has lived in Hartland for the past 12 years, died at her home yesterday at 9:55 a.m.
Death resulted from a stroke following 10 days illness.
She was born Nov. 28, 1884 at Hartland township, the daughter of Ole and Nikoline Knutson. She lived in Hartland Township until 1942 when she moved with her husband to Hartland Village.
She had married Theodore Thostenson Dec. 28,1904, at Albert Lea. He survives her.
Other survivors include; three sons, two daughters and 17 grandchildren.
The sons are, Alvin, Willie and Ansel. The daughters are Mrs. Harry(Theodore) Lund, Mrs. Archie(Inez) Shaunce.
Mrs. Thostenson also is survived by seven sisters and three brothers. The sisters are Mrs. Betsey Halvorson, Mrs. Caroline Morreim, Mrs. Julia Grasdalen, Mrs. Josie Knutson, Mrs. Ella Madson, Mrs. Anna Nelson, Mrs. Olga Einertson.
The brothers are: Lewis Knutson, Olaves and Theodore Knutson.
Mrs. Thostenson was a member of the West Freeborn Lutheran church.
Funeral services will be at the West Freeborn Lutheran church with the interment at the church cemetery.
