Lewis E. Bailey, 70, passed away at the Ontonagon Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient there for the past week.
Mr.Bailey was a member of one of the old Ontonagon families.
He was a married 45 years ago to Miss Mary Roosen, who was also a member of one of the old pioneer families of Ontonagon.
He leaves 2 sons and 1 daughter, Harold Bailey & Mrs. Stanley Cane of Ontonagon & Edwin Bailey, who is in the service in the Far East.
Funeral services held at the Episcopal church, Rev. Charles M.Lever officiating.
Mr. Bailey was a member of the Ontonagon Lodge of Masons, the Odd Fellows, & the Ontonagon Firemen, all who attended the funeral in a body.
Burial at Riverside Cemetery.
