The funeral of Mrs. Daisy Clendenen was held at the M. E. church Monday at 2 p.m. There was a large concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives. Her death is a particularly sad one, leaving as she does a young husband and two little babes. Her father is in some of the mountain camps and the sad news cannot be got to him for several weeks. A brother Otis Pfost, is in California and did not reach Meridian in time for the funeral.
