TISKILWA – Charles H. Bornsheuer, 76, died Tuesday, May 1, 1973 at his home. He was born Jan. 31, 1897, at Peoria County, a son of Henry and Louise Finck Bornsheuer. On Jan. 2, 1923, he married Mabel Harris in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Charles Jr. of Texas, Robert E., stationed at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines, Wayne of Houston, Tex., Ralph of Tiskilwa, and Donald of Buda.
Also, three daughters, Mrs. Don (Dorothy) Cundiff of Peoria, Mrs. Shirley Delbridge and Miss Mary Bornsheuer, both of Tiskilwa; 26 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also, three brothers, Wilbur and Arthur of Chillicothe and Harold, in Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Crutchfield of Chillicothe and Mrs. Lee (Ruby) Donath of Princeville.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Mr. Bornsheuer was a retired employee of Rock Island Railroad.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Hughes Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Scott officiating. Visitation will be 7 to 9 tonight.
Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park.
